I have noticed a few times now when I am wielding swords and hit the wrong macro I still sometimes attempt to cranial to begin combat. The times I have noticed it the attempts have missed.

I assume you mean that someone evades you when you try to open with a cranial while wearing swords. Otherwise you'd actually get a failure saying you don't have maces.
