You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Took the edge and it's not working. Nothing sentient can be calmed down and every message says "xxx is too intelligent to be tamed." I made sure to try with creatures all the way across the board (natural, aggressive, natural aggressive, etc)

Still getting "xxx is too intelligent to be tamed." I've tried on creatures I thought were aggressive, sentient, and part of the wilds, but getting that message. If "by design" is the answer, could beastmasters have the innate ability to see who is a tamable, maybe as part of improved consider?

A build + crash/reboot has not happened since I checked in the code. It's working fine on the test port.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
