I was sleeping at the guildmaster in galadon and when I typed 'rehearse galadriel' I got 'In your dreams or what?' .. whereas in every other spot it would should the percentage at which the song is. Probably by design, but I thought I'd mention it

By design. When you are in the guild you are actually trying to rehearse a song, not check the percentage of it, and for that you need to be awake.
