You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

You narrow your eyes and glare in Tissen's direction.
Your plague on Tissen has worn off.
Tissen screams in agony as plague sores erupt from his skin.
Tissen has some small but disgusting cuts.

He had already been plagued, this was a second one, but I'm getting that "worn off" message, which shouldn't be happening. Is it not stacking but instead resetting or something? Whatever it is, weird!

This is how stackable affects work (technically it creates a new version of the affect, strips the old one, and puts the new one on them). It's probably possible to fix, but I don't want to go re-write all the affect code that is working so nicely today.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
