The short desc and long desc seem to elude to an acidic bite attack, but it's a slashing attack.

Either way, if it's not supposed to be acidic, a piercing attack seems more logical than a slashing.

Is this by design?

Similarly, The black widow long bow seems by it's long description to have a "Poisonous Bite", but is just a "Bite" attack.
