I often can't pick anything up even though I'm at 0/X items of carrying capacity. Might it have something to do that the form has less dex than my real one, and my real inventory would be overfull if I had the form's dex?

Dex : 18(18)
Carry # : 0/1

get key
A multi-alloy key: you can't carry that many items.

rev
You concentrate a moment and return to your normal shape.
You maintain the hardness of your skin as you shapeshift.
You maintain your speed as you shapeshift.
You maintain your levitation as you shapeshift.
You maintain your phase as you shapeshift.
You maintain your phase as you shapeshift.

## I'm at max inventory even in my real form...
get key
A multi-alloy key: you can't carry that many items.

You put a plain key in a cowhide knapsack.
A stone giant decides to go on to more important things.
A stone giant stops following you.

You put a jade key in a cowhide knapsack.

## ...and am no longer
You get a multi-alloy key.

My real form dex is 23, which gives me 37 held items.
