I thought that the ability to use NPC's with fire damage to heal using the maran power was removed. If it wasn't then I apologize but if it should be gone then the firedrake in the new ambassadors keep needs changing. An elf Maran used it to heal when I had him on the ropes in the area.

Here is a snippet from the fight after she ran and had healed up from writhing and me catching up to her.

A firedrake's flaming bite CHARS Elfmaran!
Bright silvery-white flames flare brightly across Elfmaran's wounds.
A firedrake's flaming bite RAZES Elfmaran!
Bright silvery-white flames flare brightly across Elfmaran's wounds.
You dodge Elfmaran's punch.
Elfmaran's punch injures you.
Elfmaran deflects your claw with her shield.
Your claw EVISCERATES Elfmaran!
Elfmaran effortlessly dodges your attack, almost as if she knew it was coming.
Elfmaran is covered with bleeding wounds.

It was a smart move but I thought it was a move that had been removed from the game.
Thanks either way.

I have no idea why you would think that.
