It works fine for me through telnet and tintin++

Thanks, yes I just created a test char to test that as well. Looks like local echo is the cause of the problem in Gmud. Though, sometimes if I hit enter too quickly, it will double up.
Otherwise, without local echo on, Gmud (and possibly some other clients) will have the stacking problem.
