I don't see anything in the log that looks like it's doing anything. And the only virtue I know that might come into play there wouldn't do what you showed in the log. Basically...I'm stumped.

Is it possible to have a check put in place so that vampiric touch only heals positive amount of hp? It won't fix the hp rollover, but at least I'd survive the next time this happens.
