You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

<100%hp 10%m 100%mv 419tnl> co 'cure light'

You close your eyes for a moment and nod at .
You haven't been empowered to help others

<100%hp 0%m 100%mv 419tnl>

Aside from the missing trailing period on the rebuff, mana was also taken away. Shouldn't the check for that be before the actual mana drain and incidently I cannot confirm if the " closes his eyes for a moment and nods at ." was shown to others in the room.

1) The mana loss without effect is by design. You tried to commune. You just weren't able to. Lots of spells and supplications work like this.

2) I fixed all the missing periods associated with that echo.

3) Did you omit the target's name? I wasn't able to reproduce the missing target echo.

I actually put {target} but forgot that it filters out the square brackets. I was merely trying to show an example, as in...

____ narrows his eyes and glares at _____.

Was wondering if that echo was shown to everyone in the room, even though I was unable to do it.

You tried to commune on them, but failed. So they see the echo as if you failed anything else.
