I don't know how things work for svirfs, but as an assassin rager, you can't use truesight for its detect magic effect if you have heightened awareness up. Considering other cabal powers with multiple effects seem happy to give you the missing ones if you've already got some active (vigilance, windwalk, mantle of the phoenix come to mind) could truesight be changed to work that way as well?
