When satebos blinds me it's uncurable. I can't cancel it, I've quaffed countless potions of sight. 16 hours of uncurable blindness seems a bit out of whack to me.

If he's using the spell Blindness, you're likely just running into the problem of trying to cancel/cure a very high level spell. If he's using some other method, I can verify that it's marked as cancel-able.
