ok first. I was dirted and evaded a dirtkick.
and second is all hand specs seem to have the pummel edge

You pummel someone with your fists.
Your pummeling blow mauls someone.
Your pummeling blow injures someone.
Your pummeling blow wounds someone.
Your kick wounds someone.
Someone is covered with bleeding wounds.

and I haven't choosen it yet although I do like it

This can happen, though it's less likely when you can't see the attacker. You Evade the attempt, whether or not it goes through.
