Saw a log on dios. One of the many Winged nightwalkers (portal nightwalker, not the individual nightwalker that each scion can call and which follows that scion around) kills Ysal. AP gets the charge. As winged nightwalkers are not pets for the ap, there are many of them, blah blah blah, that seemed very buggy that when it kills someone the AP gets the charge to the unholy weapon.

It's a cabal ability, and treated no differently than if a conjurer's minion lands the kill.
