Not even with a 'dormant'?! Does this mean you quit?
Boooo, whatever. It means I have to trade in my 'WWSD' bracelet. It's unique in that it had the answer on the inside.
You could take it off, show it to your friends and wait for one of them to ask why they'd want to impale everything. The answer, is no longer as inspiring without the spear-happy shokmeister.

God this seems like 100 years ago, but I still remember being in the old Knights with Shokai before the pfile purge, and leveling up for like the first 15, 20 levels or so with him after we all started over.
It's pretty amazing, looking back on it now, how many good memories I have from this game, even if I haven't actually had the time to play with any sort of focus in 4 or 5 years.
Do I miss it? Absolutely.
Will I ever make it back? Most likely not.
However, it's good to wander through once in a while, read about the changes, and realize this is still a somewhat vibrant, active place.
Someone made the comment that Shokai made the game for them. I would add a couple other names to the list, but in his particular case, whether he made the game or not, he definitely made it fun.
(And yeah, OldWolf was the name of my pre-purge toon, though I totally forget the name of the giant I rolled afterwards. I can still remember hanging with Shok, RipSaw and company in the old digs though.)
Ahh, another trip down amnesia lane.
Maybe the name OldWolf is appropriate lol.

But you'll never know unless you give it a try.
Try a classic like a battlerager warrior, there's a new system for speedy induction. Kill a mage, visit the Noldarian Smith, and get basics like detect invis without even seeing the Commander!
See you in the fields.

You have no idea how hard it is to get tattoo's removed.
I have I.M.P.A.L.E on a spear on my ass. It sounded like a good idea at the time, in retrospect I hope I never go to jail.

Far more fun that tatting followers. Warm up the spear, and lay the inscription on their buttocks.
Although, I guess branding people 'Outlaw' kinda might be taken the wrong way when they get arrested in Tir-talath for pissing in the moat.
Maybe just get yourself a big "S" and slam it on their chest. Then they can do the shirt-ripping thing before charging into combat. Da-da-daaa da-da-da-da-daaaa...

Hey, if you move to Vegas, can you leave contact info on the restaurant you're at? That would be awesome to show up at Shok's place, and Vegas is a lot closer to the West Coast than Tampa Bay.

Shokai made cf for me, so you leaving would really hurt my interest. Even if you are barely around right now.

Oooh man! I come back six years later just to see Shokai "semi-quit"... Dammit! Well, there goes my goal of making a new Storm-Giant Paladin with the strength sphere... Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.
