The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. It all depends on the day lately, I'm working roughly 6 days a week at my 'real job' and doing catering gigs outside of work about 3 times a week. I'm also lately not feeling all that attached to the game as a whole....as such I'm going to be taking a bit of a break (still around, just focusing on the parts of the game I used to enjoy)...so catching me for empowerment will be odd. As it stands I always enjoyed immteraction...so it's feasible that I may be around more from the mortal point of view. I guess what I'm saying here is, for those planning on following Shokai....buyer beware.

As for actual times? In general, when I'm on, it's around midnight-2am or so, EST. Sometimes earlier, sometimes not at all. Sorry for the inconvience...but hopefully after I re-attach myself to the fun parts of the game, I'll be less of an absentee imm.

It's ironic, I remember when I was the younger imm in Knight, I watched Cador slowly fade out of the scene and it became more and more my cabal...I guess right now that's what's going on with Vyn and I (poor Vynnie). To all you Marans and Acolytes out there, I apologize for not being around and not really offering much guidance or support. Anyway, more me later...yada yada yada.

You're still kickin, all of us will still be trekking to the Shrine hopin to catch a glimpse of floofiness.

Thanks for the response, and there are a good number of us hoping the game'll be fun for you again.

What about those who are already empowered by you, but not completely? From what I have been experiencing these past couple days is that not having full empowerment is a gigantic suffering, for multiple reasons. I hope I don't remain a target for long

From what I gathered, you are sort of fading out like Cador did, and thats a shame. After I gathered all sorts of knowledge about you with this character and previous ones, I always liked your whole role and the part you now play in the Fortress.

Anyways, I am sure there are others in the same boat. Hope to see you soon in the fields.

Not that I've ever had a Shokai follower, but I also viewed you as the bastion of hard-core Imm dedication. I remember when I asked you for a sword with my very first char, and you did a fancy smite echo and I had no idea what the heck was going on. Since then, 8 years ago or so, I've seen pretty much every other imm come and go, but you've always been there. If you are contemplating leaving, well I have to say that sucks big time.

I'm more or less back, I've been back sorta for a week (maybe week and a half?) anyway, it occured to me that I should probably drop an update here. I'm still not around as much as I once was (ahhh for the days of low responsibility and care-freeness of my youth)...but I'm around for an hour or two most days. Generally around 10pm-midnightish EST is when there's a decent chance of a Shokai sighting.

However, as those of you who work in the hospitality industry well know, hours are subject to change at a minutes notice. I'm currently the banquet chef of a country club...and that means that I'm tentatively on call while we're open. While I never actually thought I'd hear the expression 'we have a banquet emergency!'...I have been called in at ungodly hours of the day to make things go smoothly. (Admittedly my idea of 'ungodly' is pretty much anything before noon...)

So there you have it, a rough outline of when I'm around and why I'm not, when I'm not.

Still a good idea to look for you late evening system time?

Thanks.
