#50, "Vanguards Desire"

If a warrior takes the Cry of Thunder Legacy, I would think the impact on the group from a regular warcry would then be increased with a Cry of Thunder warcry. I know 1 tick of group haste might be overboard, but I know I'd pick them both if it were so.

I assume what you're asking for is a boost to warcry effects if you have both Vanguards Desire and Cry of Thunder.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Vanguard is supposed to give affects to your group mates if you warcry. He wants that affect boosted.

That's why he says he'd "pick them both" if so.

He wants a boost to the group warcry. Hence why he mentioned 1-tick haste on the group. You already get a 1-tick haste for the person using it.

He would pick BOTH so that he could give his group that warcry. Otherwise he would likely only pick cry of thunder so that he can get the boost that is already in place for his personal warcry affects on himself.

As it stand right now (when taking both):

Cry of Thunder: Better warcry for the person doing the warcry.
Vanguard's Desire: Warcry affects (only the basic ones) transfer to group mates.

What he wants (when taking both):
Cry of Thunder: Stays the same for the person doing the warcry.
Vanguard's Desire: Warcry now has added affects thanks to also having cry of thunder (beyond the basic ones) that transfer over to the group mates.

Hence, the want to use both.

So does Zulg. But you appear to be saying that Zulg is misunderstanding him?

But I interpret Zulg's wording as meaning the same thing as we're both saying. Zulg says a boost to warcry, and in this context, I assumed he meant the boost would give haste to the rest of the group.

I late realized that I think we are reading Zulgh's post differently. Just takes forever for these posts to show up.

I read Zulgh's as him thinking OP wants a simply boosted warcry (for the warcrier) for having both.

You're probably right though, AFAIK Zulgh usually gets what people are saying.

PS: Warcrier, heh.
