#45, "Let Illusionary items vanish after one tick so they can..."

From a newbie's perspective, Illusionary items are a great help. But I have also run into situations where I find empty containers that I know "should" have an item in them (though what it is, perhaps I'll never know). Some of these are in explore areas that take me hours to get to. And on occasion after killing a tough mob I wish I could know more about the Illusionary equipment it had. So, my suggestion:

Illusionary items pop as normal but vanish after one tick of being displaced from their original location.

Caveat: Illusionary items STILL cannot be disarmed, broken, etc ("by design").
Caveat: Illusionary items cannot be wielded, worn, quaffed, recited, brandished, zapped, progged, or any such thing. But you can use Lore, Identify, Contact Other Planes.

Can't the current rot code be adapted to make it work? I don't see it changing much of gameplay/balance other than throwing newbies a tasty bone.

Thanks for the consideration!
