#81, "Determining instrument styles"

Would it be possible for the appraise skill (not lore) when used on an instrument to indicate which repertoire style an instrument is best suited for using in? I was thinking an experienced bard would be able to tell that when they look at an instrument (maybe tie it to sing 100%, appraise 100%)

I was thinking most players already know what instruments are for each class, and trial and error does tell them, so this would not do all that much except maybe help newer players out who might not know as easily.

Either way, thanks for all you do for CF Zulgh.

compare harp lute

An old harp and a rosewood lute seem equally suited for Comedic performance.
An old harp looks inferior to a rosewood lute for Epic performance.
An old harp looks inferior to a rosewood lute for Romantic performance.
An old harp looks inferior to a rosewood lute for Tragic performance.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
