And maybe hero deletes to 24 hours? Just waiting an entire 7 day cool down time seems silly sometimes.

Though I would be reticent to make any delete protection shorter than 3 days. You need enough time to walk away, calm down and confirm you want to let it go.

Is there tracking of how many people reactivate after a rage delete or hero delete? I can't remember the last time I did either and I am just curious if it occurs a lot, if not, then it would seem the change would have little negative impact.

that most of rage-deleters don't reactivate anyway.
Also, reactived chars are frowned upon by imms.

Do we have stats how often reactivation is really happen?
If it's one char per month or year, probably just let this feature go away and remove deletion lag (because it's annoying and affects anyone).

And that ended up to be one of my more favorite characters. Enlilth(or someone who needs to speak up so I can grovel over you) just kept hitting me for 400 every role update. I got into the role feature because of that. Took a big step back in terms of PK in lieu of just having fun(be it exploring, be it testing out the necro spells I had no clue).

Anyways, if it was gone, that'd be fine. But I'm thinking there may be a few other players out there that really got use out of rage delete.

Timer could certainly be shortened, but removing it may cost some players some very enjoying characters.

P.S. I don't think IMM's categorically frown on reactivations of rage deletions*, I mean it is what it is. Now if you post on Dio's that you deleted, then re-activated, I would think that would be frowned upon.

No...they're not. That's why we have the feature. Now people who rage delete every other day for a week, constantly bitch and moan when they die that whatever killed them is overpowered are frowned upon, but that has more to do with their ####ty attitude, and not delete/re-activate.

Yeah, I agree with that.

The only character in recent memory I can remember looking down on for reactivating rage deleted and reactivated four times in a reasonably short period and had a leadership position in his cabal. At that point, make up your mind.
