Since the echo is "You focus on your accumulated knowledge of the Legends of Thera," then it seems like it's based on your character's knowledge, not an affect that is on your body which would be left behind while projecting.

If it's not too much to ask, having detect magic work while projecting also, like detect invis does. Detect magic is a change I could live without, but would be nice.
