Sorry, I just posted, but I remembered this old request that's been tossed around several times... let camouflaged rangers in Outlander choose whether they can be seen by cabalmates with trustall, like bards can choose whether to hit friends with their songs or not.

Talked it over with Sebeok. Camo > Chameleon. Outlanders can see Chameleoned folks anywhere. Outlanders can see Camo'd folks in the same room. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Mostly because it makes no sense. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Well, the idea is (and was) that for a cabal that's supposed to support intra-cabal conflict, it hurts rangers pretty bad that everyone in their cabal can magically see them, even if they couldn't have before they were inducted. Why would their camouflaging become less effective as an outlander?

...making it so that Outlanders only see through chameleon and acute vision would be needed to detect camouflage?

But non-ranger outlanders in general do not have the ability to see camo'd non-outlander rangers. I have to agree that is seems silly that Outlander rangers cannot camo from other outlanders because they are in the cabal. No other cabal works like that in regards to hiding abilities.
