...to zeal somewhat recently? If so, how do you specify when pledging that you wish to be a squire (or a scribe)? I tried searching, but to no avail, and help pledge does not give a syntax for that.

gets zeal access. All pledges get the same and then at induction you gain access to the different powers based on Squire or Scribe.
