#71387, "Master of Atemi Waza"
|
The helpfiles for the other master edges seem pretty self explanatory to me, but this one is a bit inscrutable. It says "Assassins with this edge enjoy a bonus to their unarmed and punching techniques."
What does this mean?
Does it mean your punches hit harder?
Does it mean your punches will get through defenses more often?
Does it mean you defend yourself better, if you are unarmed?
Some combination?
Something else entirely?
Help!

Long story short, it helps with literally all the skills performed with bare hands.

I did and I don't see where anyone who actually knows posted anything about it. If you can point me to the posts you're referring to, that would be great. Otherwise maybe an Imm can chime in please?

There's a post where Isildur or Forsaken asks the question about it and Nepe answers saying "hey that's a good idea I'll add tiger claw and a few others to be boosted as well".

If it does help damage, I don't think it's honestly that much, but I believe it does help unarmed defense/backfist a bit. I hit quite a few backfists with Atemi Waza and master of Uraken.
