#28561, "Quests."

Don't force quests on me, please.

Kill quests in particular.

I hate running into some mob that tells me kill this without a number to kill.

Everyone else

Seriously, can't you people just be happy without criticizing every little thing?

So just don't complete the quest?

It's not forced on you. You have a choice whether to do it or not.

Do you obsessively master every skill and commune you take? Or worse, do you take every skill available to your character, and also strive to master them?

That just makes me want to make a felar hunter and drive myself nutty.

Hell, my last char was 200+ hours old, and never mastered word.

It's just those lists of "Failed" on the quest command that drive me nuts. Can't they say "chose not to complete" or "had better things to do" instead?

Okay, I'm going to throw you a bone.

Yes. Your character is a failure at "wasting his time killing vermin".

Good on you.

Foot in mouth.

Was actually fun/rewarding.

Would suggest upping the amount of coin.

But yeah, foot in mouth. My bad.

Disclaimer: If the other kill quests are similarly structured. I intend to find out next character.

I do all of those quests, some give you commerce exp, and some that you do on higher levels give you random skill advancements, I'd say they are a good thing.

And like Java said, some of us are anal enough to obsess over a failed quest in the quest log

I didn't think that is what Java was saying.

But I could be wrong.

And I'd be completely on board with you if I just had a number on those kill quests.

I'd kill 250 of xxx if I knew that would complete the quest.

I'm not sure that is something I should have to test out.

And I've given it a legitimate shot with one of the quests.

I just want a number, that's all oh and the option to accept or decline the quest.

With almost every character. Moreover, they are good for a newbie, since (a) a newbie doesn't know so well where to get better gear, and (b) they give the newbie the coins needed to survive, and (c) they are easy (if time consuming) to complete.

I pick one that I see as synergetic to my role, do it and incorporate it into my characters story.

I really like those quests even though the end result isn't as cool as say the boots. But to me they are RP street cred and you do get fair coin for low level.

I will say this, would like to be able to finish a quest after passing the threshhold, even if it meant I didn't get any reward as a result.
