Lash was successful more often than not for me. Perhaps because I was arial with high dex. Perhaps because I used whips more than flails.

yes, whip specs have to wait for their skills relative to others. However, I would think the most experienced players would probably be as deadly with a whip/flail first spec as any other (bearing in mind they have knowledge of haste, for example).

eyejab is a very nice skill that shouldn't be overlooked. pull is pretty nice too.

well, I do agree that without haste you are basically a walking punchbag against ragers, for example. However, you are perhaps the only warrior class that can kill anyone (who doesn't have a cursed weapon) when your gear sucks.
