#11327, "Coffin-Maker"
|
The Coffin-Maker, realizing that he isn't making enough money, should branch out. Essentially, he'll still make coffins, because there is always a need, but he'll also make an assortment of travel-sized resting things. He could sell sleeping bags, travel tents, etc for a price that would provide a greater regen rate. The backside is that people who buy and use them, being able to sleep better, are even less aware of their surroundings. They wouldn't be able to use gtell, cb, and have a chance of failing to notice maledictions cast upon them.
How does that sound?

It's a nice association people make with such connection. If he wants to branch out, it should be more different than that, so that people wouldn't associate his sleeping bags as poor man's coffins. Personally, I'd consider sleeping bags as a bad article to sell for a coffin maker. If sleeping bags were actually implemented, a general store would be a better place to sell them.

Sleep aid items aren't particularly new, seen them on other muds and believe it's been suggested here before. My only beef with the idea is the coffin-maker. Way too creepy buying a bed from someone like that. And they would probably smell like dead people. Eew. "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens." - Jimi Hendrix
