Daelen, thank you. Truly. I cannot say enough good things about you. This was my first, and maybe only, fortie, and you really brought a lot to the table. I honestly couldn't help bugging the #### out of you because of it but it was fun. You gave me A LOT more credit than I deserved and I wanted to live up to your hype but I'll be damned if I can't.

I ate 6 and some odd con before 35, couldn't do #### without help and was quite the opposite of what I was trying to play. Wouldn't have ever worked out even if I tried my hardest.

Thanks for helping me rank early on. I could tell you were new to the whole fort thing but you really showed amazing improvement by the end. It can be tough especially when the hero ranks are strong and you end up being forced to defend one against 3 over and over again but you stuck it out.

To be honest I think the concept of maran and the role play they encourage are opposites most of the time. I loved your initial gung ho dwarven lets go gitem attitude. and you maintained that attitude throughout but you tempered it a little bit. At first you said you saw neutrals as just evil light (which I agree with most of the time) but you tempered down the thirst for blood.

I understand the mechanics of this game. Power ranking is ludacrisly easy if you get people willing to do it. I also built this character so I could power rank because I frioggin hate lowbie ranks.

Yeah, I think my initial thirst for blood was purely out of rage because of getting full looted quite frequently. Then I got into the fort and got looted less, but had a lot more on my plate so I had to calm down a bit to maintain it all.

Get me in on that power ranking bus next time. I've yet to hero anything.

What I was talking about as per the "credit" is that one, you said that another member "Had a new soul" and what not when they are twice as veteran as I and all of the good things that you said while we talked.
I hope you do that with every, well, a few more, Forties when they come knocking. It was fun.

I hope you weren't too pissed about the three-on-one gang I was involved in on Shephard's Row. I honestly wasn't expecting you to charge into us like that. The permalag the two warriors laid down looked pretty icky.

Was on my way back to the fort, typed where and ran like a mofo to get out. Permalagged and dead.

You had so many protections, I figured you ran into us on purpose. Doh.

I was half naked with the minor shields and no preps. heh, but no worries. I really did, and do, hold the utmost respect for your character. You whooped my ass consistently but it was never "Hey, he's in range and I'm bored." You had good reason and RP behind whooping my ass. Never once did you full loot (Or take anything that I remember.) and you were always consistent with your RP. Even at the other side of the table I had to respect you.

Okay, now I feel like a hypocrite. I forgot that I had summoned you into that gang. We were trying to retrieve, though, and you were defending, so I figured if we could take you out of the equation then we might be able to pull off the retrieval. At least, I think that's what my reasoning was.

Not sure about the ass whomping, though. I think we only fought maybe three times. The only time I remember killing you was when I summoned you away from your group in Barovia.
