Was afraid I was going to see this after you didn't show in so long. What happened you were a great character? I loved the way you wanted people to refer to you as iz(sp?). I still don't understand why outlander assassins lose assassinate, this isn't Sylvan(or at least that's what the tell me . Good luck with your next one.

Met the felar assassin once. Neat person, but never really bonded. Hope you're still playing.
By the way, why WOULD an assassin in Outlanders lose assassinate? I mean, they set fires to cities and are fairly violent towards city folk. It would stand to reason that one could still assassinate.

The outlander stealth coupled with assassin stealth makes assassinate overpowered for them.

Also, assassinate, or the act of assassinating is a civilized act in most terms. Outlanders are completely anti-civilization. Hence the no assassinate. I could be blowing smoke out my ass on this, but I think this is the reason from the IMMs.

It has to do with the fact that true assassins need to have an in-depth knowledge of biological science, what arteries to sever, what nerves to cut, where exactly the bones on the temple meet to shatter with a well-placed strike PLUS most assassins learned this stuff for use in the cities, how shadows fall in the cities, how to walk unheard on specific roads when slinking up for your assassinate, ect.
....or it's a game balance thing like the guy below said.

I could definately argue that assassination has nothing to do with being civilized. Their are a million and one valid roleplay angles that could have a wilderness oriented assassin. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

They lose hide though as well, so if anything it is already harder for them to assassinate. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.
