Chapter 1

Earendur can remember nothing before waking up one day in the mountains of
jade with a nasty injury to his head. Wandering aimlessly finding berries
and other things to stay alive, some months pass before he was discovered
by the jade elves that live in the mountains. They taught him how to survive
in the wilderness and the virtue of taking only what you need from the
Mother. Eventually he came to hear the voices of the wind and the rivers
finally he realised that they were choked and strained, he asked why this
was and was shown a dam built by the minotaurs of Seantryn Modan. He could
not believe that they could not see nor care about the pain they were causing
the Mother.
While roaming the mountains as a young one he was approached by a curious
mountain lion all he could think of was how scared he was. He closed his eyes
hoping that the lion would lose interest and go away. Something he could not
explain what at the time happened and the lion was running for its life when
he opened his eyes. Seems that something had singed the fur on its tail, it
must have come from him as nothing else was about. Later he came to realise
the gift that had been given to him by the Ancients and that he must train
himself in the use of the elements he was granted the power to control.
