Chapter 4

Aelrindor stood before the melted altar with Azorinne, his hands
upon the stone itself. He spoke his vow with conviction. He felt
a sense of purpose and determination, knowing that he had
committed himself to a life of prudence and redemption.

Aelrindor was assigned a task by the goddess herself. He was to
explore the topic of judgment and seek the perspectives of
individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Aelrindor met with Coqui Captain of the Brigade - they spoke of
his past, of his faith and of his first experience bloodying
himself with an evil tainted drow. At the conclusion of their
meeting, Aelrindor was shown around the Fortress as a member,
a Squire of the Brigade.

Chapter 3

Aelornmir was born into the royal family of Darsylon, but was later exiled
due to his misconduct.

Leaving behind his family name he hopes to eventually create a new name
for himself.

He deeply regrets the way he treated his love, and longs to be reunited
with her once he has redeemed himself.

Driven by a desire for spiritual purity, striving to rid himself and others
of their past and present sins and protect them from future corruption.

He seeks the Goddess Azorinne as a guiding light, hoping to gain her
patronage in hopes her wisdom and insight might aid his quest.

Aelornmir aspires to join the Holy Brigade as a Maran, dedicating himself
to their cause of purifying the world of sin.

His first weapon - a walking staff, given to him during his exile - will
play an instrumental part in his future, becoming the inspiration to his
Champion Dedication within the paladin guild. He keeps the old walking
stick with him as a reminder of his lowest moments and as a symbol of his
commitment to remain steadfast against sin.

He prays for wisdom and strength to temper his actions and make correct
judgment so he might live a life worthy of redemption and void of sin.

The prince is haunted by his past actions, but remains resolute in his
quest to make amends and live a life of purity and virtue.

He trains himself in combat, seeking to protect the innocent and defeat
evil.

The prince is determined to reclaim his honor, driven by his love and his
desire to make a positive impact on the world.

He meditates and studies, hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the
forces of sin and how to combat them.

Chapter 2

As he savored the warm broth and regained his composure, Aelornmir began to
tell his tale. "My name is Aelornmir," he said, his voice barely above a
whisper. "I was once a prince of the Darsylon court, but now I am nothing
but a fallen soul. I was cast out for succumbing to the temptations of the
flesh and betraying my family and my honor."

Tears welled in his eyes as he spoke, the memories of his past still raw
and painful. "I gave in to my desires for a woman betrothed to my brother,
and in doing so, I brought shame upon my family and defiled my own
nobility."

With a deep sense of regret, he finished his soup, the warmth of the broth
filling him with a sense of comfort and peace. He looked up at the knight,
a newfound sense of resolve in his eyes. "I must find a new path, a new
purpose, and I must seek redemption for my past mistakes. I will embrace
the light and follow in your footsteps, kind stranger. Thank you for your
kindness and guidance."

With a bow of his head, Aelornmir gathered his tattered belongings and
stepped out into the busy streets of Galadon, his heart full of hope and
his soul filled with a newfound sense of purpose. As he turned to offer a
final farewell to the knight, he spoke with conviction.

"May you remain steadfast against sin and blessed by the light. Farewell."

Stepping out into the streets once more, Aelornmir's demeanor was visibly
improved, he walked with a sense of purpose. As he walked he pondered
that very purpose, his vow.

His vow:
To temper his actions until his judgment is sound, thus remaining
steadfast against sin and living a life that is worthy of redemption.

Chapter 1

The bedraggled ex-prince of the Darsylon court made his way through the
bustling streets of Galadon, his steps dragging with the weight of a soul
cast adrift. Ignored by the crowds that bustled past him, his eyes were
fixed on the cobblestones at his feet, not noticing the sideways glances
thrown his way, nor the tears that stained his face. He was once a member
of the royal court, stripped of his nobility and cast out for his sins,
wandering the land in search of redemption and purpose.

With delicate fingers, he traced the white stripes upon his skin where his
royal signet rings once adorned him, now a painful reminder of the life he
had lost. It was then that he was intercepted by a towering paladin who
guarded the soup kitchen with the fire of righteousness blazing in his
eyes.

"Come, weary prince," the paladin said, his voice kind but firm. "I see
you are suffering. Allow me to share with you a bowl of soup and bread,
and I urge you to share with me your tale and ease your pain."

With a deep sense of gratitude, Aelornmir accepted the invitation, his
stomach rumbling with hunger as he stepped into the warm and welcoming
embrace of the soup kitchen.
