Chapter 5

I am closer, closer to true dominion in the Empire. A step away from being named Dreadlord
but Zrannaiw stands in my way. I do believe I have the favor of the Emperor, and have
earned the High Priestess' favor showing worth and aiding her and the divines though it
infuriates me that I have never seen this current Dreadlord. The power they wield and yet
the presence of dominance is lack-luster at best. Disappointing really. Of course my goals
do not stop there, with just the seat of Dreadlord, I who serve the Twin Honors,
Lord Destuvius, seek nothing but the top of the pillar, in guild, in status and position,
and in wealth and sophistication. Time will tell.

The war goes on and I do feel a bit of dispair as the battles seem more favored to our
enemies. Not that O don't believe the Emperor, but this grand march they speak of has yet
to show results. We are not the boot that steps on the neck of our enemies and I find myself
rather lacking on subjects who would be lovely for the music I like ot orchestrate. The sound
of a tortured soul, how pleasing, how daunting, how marvelous it is, yet I am far from
sated! This angers me and clouds my reasonable mind at times, but I will not defer.

I want to meet lord Destuvius, though I imagine they have not shared their presence with
me for some reason or another. Perhaps I am not worthy of their perfection, perhaps it is
my human blood that turns his eye blind to me. Whatever the reason, I only find reason
in serving him, yet.

I still debate to myself, what path to my true power will I venture towards. The option of wight
is not an option at all. The mummy seems more reasonable the choice, but the power of the lich,
though less successful in it's approach, yields far more and greater power. A tantalizing
debate of true suffering that turns in my mind about the hopeful future I will provide
to the Empire, once I am successful.

Chapter 4

The Empire has been fortuitous. They do not seem to mind my rather unique preferences
and have not insulted me upon my accent to my face. This is pleasing to me and my desires.
I have always been an obedient follower ever since I was a child, but this was
very unfulfilling to me. When I enjoyed torturing my brothers, I noticed
something about myself. I enjoy holding power over others, that I was more than just an
obedient servant, that I was one who seeks Dominion over others, that I will take what
I can, and on the screams and moans of the tortured victims on the way will be the
sweet melody I orchestrate.

I love music, almost as much as I enjoy war, and making those around me subservient to
me. It is an act most of the time to show obedience to the council and those ranked above me
mostly because that is the game you must play to acquire position and power, while heeling
like a good dog, though I sharpen my teeth and show that I am a wolf. Obedience is
important, as a follower of Destuvius, it is a pillar upon the magnificence of the
Twin Honors, and while it has it uses, it is not my end goal. I want power, I want Dominion
over others, I want the trembling, the screaming, the smell of fear and hate for me so
that I may crush them when they feel ready to oppose me. This is my music, this is my love
this is what drives me.

Torture is fascinating, did you know? The simple things you can do to, compared to the complex
procedures. Though while fascinating, there are who are resistant to certain procedures.
Some races are resistant to diseases and poisons, which make that torture less effective
while others might be more vulnerable to it, are less vulnerable to bleeding out and harder
to cut, to open such wonderful wounds. But every time I get a chance to practice my craft on
an unwilling patient, it is like conducting a masterpiece, yet, I am still practicing the
art, and the musicians, my devices of torture, are not masters of the craft either, so it is
still incomplete, the perfect song, the swaying melody, I have much work to do to
truly make a wonderful masterpiece that I could listen to in my head over and over.

Chapter 3

They have finally returned, but even so, the sores and scares are still upon those
wretched brats. Their mother was outraged, a pleasing sound to the ears of Lultrin.
The father was distraught and comforting to his Wife, while politically trying to
avoid the possibility of death for his eldest son. Through heated argument and
agreement, Lultrin was to be banished from the Zu'tazz family and househould, which
did not bother him one bit, he got to taste a bit of what he had potential for and
made those foolish boys suffer. He nicknamed them Disobedience and Defiance,
opposites of that which his father and Lultrin both Believed in. They were
the twin dishonors, unlike the path of becoming a Destuviun.

Lultrin spoke with his father one last time, who sent him to Udgaard, far away from
Hamsah. Though, it did have more purpose than just getting him away, it was also
to make it difficult for his wife to do anything, if he was that far. He also told
him of his mother's surname, and that she was not a whore, but could not tell him
more. His last name would be DeP'leik, which in his mother's tongue together meant
the Sound of suffering.

He traveled to Udgaard, in his young adult years, and became acquainted with the
necromancers guild, due to fascination and well, a strong young mans interest in the
guildmaster. Though he took to the guild famously, and was quite talented in the
deathly arts of necromancy. He thought to himself that with these tools, he could
enjoy the music he had once enjoyed, torturing his younger brothers, and would enjoy
creating such music, for the Empire where the divine he followed had dominion over.

Chapter 2

every day, as the battering of his step-mother and twin younger brothers became worse.
Dominion and Obedience filled his mind, to keep his calm throughout the enduring days.
Their disregard for their elder brothers superiority over them was infuriating
and yet it was supported by their mother, someone he had disowned by now in his life.
It wasn't until the disrespect grew past him that the anger inside of him for
the putrid unsophisticated acts of his younger brothers caused a response.

In a social gathering, of the wealthy and powerful, sophisticated and wonderful
high ranking members of society of Hamsah, the two little brats did something terribly
heinous in the eyes of Lultrin, they disrespected their father in front of
all the people, using Lultrin as the catalyst towards such. They ruined my father's
good name, pointing out how we weren't alike, that I was not my step-mother's son,
and that my mother was a whore. Even if it was apparent to some, it was not well known
as the dark complexions of the Hamsah Mu'tazz people, was very close enough to
my real mother kin's complexion, though regardless this disrespect came at a terrible
price for the twins. After everything was done with the event, the parents
had to take to business away from home, leaving Lultrin, the twin boys, and the
home staff of butlers, maids, and the chef.

Lultrin was a lover of music, he enjoyed the sounds of instruments and singing
voices, it was a pleasure that he kept secret, for he wished it not taken away.
It wasn't until his parents were away, and the opportunity arose to torture his
younger brothers, in revenge for what they did to his father, came about.
Glorious music to his ears, their screams, their pleading, the blood dripping onto
the hard floor. It was intoxicating to him in such intoxication, magical things
began to happen. Like cuts appearing where a blade never touched, and sores and whelps
of poison and diseases, though he had no former practice with magic. The torture
continued for days, but eventually he was caught, the younger brothers released and
he was locked away until the father and step-mother were to return, but oh how
wonderful it was to Lultrin, to enact such revenge.

Chapter 1

Lultrin DeVin Zu'tazz, a son to a wealthy man, and branch off the royal
family in Hamsah Mutazz. A son to a drow mother whore, a son to a powerful
man. He was abandoned by his mother at the footsteps of his father's mansion,
though no reason was ever known to Lultrin.

Lultrin was an obedient and well mannered child, and very sophisticated.
He listened well, and obeyed his step mother and father, though, he knew there
was a seething hatred from his step mother towards him, though he did not know
why. Until, he realized the difference between his newly born half-brother
twins. Noticing the differences between his twin half-brothers and himself,
Lultrin soon figured out why he was hated by his step-mother, who until then was
just his mother.

As the years passed, the terrible things his step mother would do to him became
worse and worse, even more so after the birth of his twin siblings. As they
grew older, they were quite terrible children, but never punished and spoiled.
They would Torment Lultrin, and if he lashed out, punishment was far worse
than anything they'd ever received. So he followed his father's footsteps,
being as obedient as he could be, and succumbing to the dominion that they had
over him. This was what his father believed in, and prayed to Destuvius, thus
something he took upon himself to do the same, A servant to those with rightful
power, and obedient upon those who had dominion over them, as this was the right
and only path of order and structure and true sophistication.

Lultrin knew his father did not hate him, but he wronged his wife, thus succumbing
to her whims, to avoid ridicule, and humiliation that would tarnish his name and
power. So Lultrin endured the punishment, the lashings, beatings, verbal abuse from
the mother and the twins, though this would not last for his entire life.
