Chapter 3

Traebaurius is the son of the most seasoned warrior of the Stormrider
Tribe. This led to him being treated with respect, even before he had
actually earned any. Then there is the matter of him being blessed
with white hooves, a sacred sign amongst his tribe. Both of these
matters led to him being in charge of the group that left the tribe for
their Sojourn into Thera.

Traebaurius holds his people and its history in high regards. He
believes none of the two legged races could ever craft finer swords or
bows then his people, including the dwarves and elfs. His journey was
meant to put him in place to taking his father's spot, and even
become a name that other centaur tribes might whisper about.

Like many centaur, Traebaurius enjoys fine foods and drinks, perhaps
too much when it comes to drinking. The centaur folk enjoy
merriment and celebrations, and he is no exceptions. He also realizes
that the two legged women of the land find his people charming and
he has no problem in indulging them. The smaller of the two legged
races, such as gnomes and svirfs, he finds them hard to tell apart.

Traebaurius has sworn to fight evil, to see it undone after he lost his
companions to slavers. He blames himself for this and feels he can
only make amends by bringing a storm upon the evil so such a thing
never happens to other centaurs again. Hearing of the Fortress of
Light, he seeks to become a squire and develope his skills at fighting
the wicked among them. They would be his new Tribe while he is
here in this part of Thera.

Religion: Seek out Ergush once he is bloodied
Likes: Fine Drink, Good Game Meat, Dancing, Singing, and Ladies
Dislikes: Dishonest people, cramped places, oceans
Motto: Let your enemies learn to fear the thunder in the skies for that
means the thunder under your hoofs is true terror.

Chapter 2

The small group of centaurs from the Stormrider tribe had finally
made it to the city of Arkham. The group was a fairly young lot, with
Traebaurius being the eldest. They had all talked it about this journey
over the past season, excited to see the world outside of the Thunder
Plains. With them they brought fine game meat and centaur wine, as
well as exquistely made swords and bows. All items they looked to
barter with to earn coin and other exotics found in throughout Thera.

Arkham was their first stop and it was a bustling port city, not as large
as some of the others they were told about, but a good place to start.
The group was met by several friendly folks, many who had met a
centaur or two who happened to travel up from Evergrove. They
found delicous and savory sweets baked by a lass named Candi. The
taverns offed ale and mead, which they were all too happy to partake
in. Their first experience with the real world started out well.

Traebaurius managed to haggle for passage with a captain of a ship
that was heading to the desert jewel, Hamsah Mu'tazz. He and his
companions were eagerly looking forward to the next part of the
journey. But that is where their good fortune would take a turn for
the worst. The ship was a slaving ship the hid its cargo all to well from
Port inspectors.

As the small group traveled across the waters, the crew chef prepared
them a meal, hiding its true intentions behind a welcome gift. The
meal had several exotic game meats and most importantly strong
wine. Which was drugged, none of the centaur could say, but as they
enjoyed their food and drink with their friends, the centaur began to
pass out. As they slept the ship's crew produced chains and manacles,
stripping the centaur of what they had.

The group blamed Traebaurius. He made the choice of this ship,
these people. He was the elder of them and he got them into this
mess. As the ship docked in Hamsah and the centaur were being led
off ship to the slave kennels, Traebaurius reared back with a mighty
strike to his capturers, breaking from his bonds. He tried to free the
others but men poured from the ships armed with spears and swords
and he was forced to flee, leaving his companions behind.

Experiencing such treachery, this rose an ancestral fierciness in his
soul, an anger that he swore he would unleash upon the wicked. He
would show them the might of the centaur people and bring the
storm of his tribe upon them.

Role

Chapter 1

Traebaurius comes from the plains loving Stormrider Tribe. The Tribe
makes it's home on the vast Thunder Plains, east past the Forest of
Evergrove. The tribe is a nomadic tribe, moving from spot to spot
upon the plains. The Thunder Plains are adeptly named due to the
frequent lightning and thunder storms that spread across its vast sea
of grass.

The Stormrider Tribe is led by an elder huntsman who is counciled by
a wisewoman and their most seasoned warrior. While the elder
huntsman has final say in decisions, usually the three agree on
matters of the Tribe. As it stands, Traebaurius's own father is the
currently the most seasoned warrior.

The Tribe enjoys many festivites, often having grand celebrations
after a great hunt or when they settle a spot for a season before
picking back up on their nomadic travels. They also celebrate any of
their kind who are born with white hooves, a blessed sign from the
gods above. It is said those with white hooves look like they fly into
combat from the dust clouds upon their charge hiding their hooves.
