Role

Chapter 1

Selessya has come to truly enjoy life and her path. Wanting to try
everything, and see everything for her self, she continues to embark
upon adventures--both surprising and dangerous. Willing to take that
fall just to feel and feed that burning desire within her. Standing
by is just not enough for. She is not fed by greed or weakness. She
started off this journey on her own, and has remained strong thru
it all. This is what she has come to realize and understand. That
the strength of her own will and her faith in Lord Arvam has led her
to splendor.

Role

Chapter 9

Always having a natural affinity to the trees and wilderness alike,
what Selessya would call good vibrations, she was a happy young girl.
She was Born of a simple mother and father who worked within the
Mushroom Tavern of Eryn Galen. The majestic village of Wood-Elves,
where harmony amoungst Elf and beast were common. Selessya has had
a pet falcon for as long as she could remember, which she named
Stripes. She was constantly talking to her falcon, and since she
had compassion for her falcon, she was able to understand it and
"hear" it. It seemed that anything she had compassion for, she was
able to hear things that no one else was able to. But it was in her
pure innocence that she did not see this ability as a gift. Many
other Wood-Elves just dismissed it as her being young and imaginative.
She learned her way around the woods well, and was good at dodging
any sort of trouble that came her way. She was always getting into
mischief. But in all reality, she was a friendly young girl, and
was always willing to help others. And she was always planting
trees, and feeding the local squirrels and deer, and other various
animals that would come to meet her grace.

Chapter 8

Hearing the devastating pain of a large oak tree, Selessya began to
cry, and she searched veinly to find where the hurting oak was. She
heard a bit of laughing in the distant woods, just past a babbling
creek. Creeping her way towards where she heard the laughter, as
not to disturb anyone or get caught. Lumberjacks were tearing down
several trees, even small trees she had planted several years before.
As the pack of lumberjacks dispersed back to their huts with nearly
a dozen trees they had cut short, Selessya crept in closer to the
once tall standing trees. Selessya knelt down, and wept for the
pain of the oaks, crying for the pain to go away. It was almost as
if she felt the pain as well. It was through her passion for life
in which something amazing began to happen. As the teardrops fell
off her cheeks and onto the ground, they began to sparkle gold.
Slowly, the golden teardrops shined more brightly and before she
knew it, a golden aura had surrounded the old oak. The oak slowly
began to rebuild itself, with the power Selessya had granted it
through means she did not understand. The area in which she stood
many smaller trees began repairing themselves, and unblossomed
flowers began to open wide and bright. Selessya was overcome with
joy and happiness. She wondered if it was something she had done.

Chapter 7

As Selessya began to create new life amoung the wilderness, a vision
of a midnight dragon came to her. She shuddered as the nightmare
became more and more clear in her mind. Unable to escape the doom
in which this vision instilled in her, Selessya cried out. It quickly
became a battle between the oaks and this midnight dragon. While
the wise, and aged oaks tried calming her down, the dragon continued
proclaiming curses upon her in her mind. And suddenly Stripes was
struck down, dead. The oaks began to speak to Selessya as the dragon
drifted away from her thoughts. "Selessya my child, go. Go and find
the Lord of the Passion Fruits, and should he give you a bite from
the passion fruits, your curse will be lifted, and your passion for
us will be renewed. Do not return home until you have done so, or
else you shall be seen upon as the enemy, and will find yourself dead
before your parents without them even recognizing you. You must do
this to save us, and to save yourself. Go child Selessya!"
And with that, Selessya ran off quickly, without stopping or turning
back, for her trust in the oaks was great, and she ran father than
she had ever gone before. And her search for the Passion Fruit began.

Chapter 6

Having been granted the Passion Fruit by the Lord of Passion himself,
Selessya was quite pleased. Though it took her a bit of searching to
find someone who knew of the Passion Fruit, the answer eventually came
from someone at the Eternal Star--a fine tavern where the vibrations
she gathered were comforting and peaceful, something greatly to her
liking. Now with the curse lifted, Selessya had returned home, and
a feast had been prepared for her return. Everyone had been so happy
that she was able to come back. They were all curious to know what
had happened. So she began to explain what had happened...

Chapter 5

While she compossed herself and told the tale of the past several
years, she came to an understanding. All it took were to hear herself
speaking of the events--saving trees, helping all sorts of animals,
planting new bushes, meeting all sorts of interesting people. In all
this excitement and journey, she realized her path was a travelling
one. Her curiousity would set her back on the road of contingency,
experience, peril, excitement and education. She was soon to become
her own adventurer. To see things without bias, except for the thing
she cared for most, and that is the preservation of the wildlife.

Chapter 4

Having talked to other adventurous people, outside of Eryn Galen,
Selessya has found some viable information about the dragon which may
have cursed her. Dragons are apparently smart, which is something
she did not really know. And most dragons generally dislike just
about everything, especially captive dragons. While this dragon
was behind warded doors, it still possesses much power. She doubts
it has enough power to escape it's captivity, but possibly enough
to proclaim a curse upon her. This event has certainly had a large
impact on Selessya, and she tries to convince herself not to take
such luxuries for granted.

Chapter 3

As the Oaks sway gently in the breeze, howling and calling out to
one another. As Selessya sleeps out in the open, and under the
stars, an intricate vision comes to her. She sees herself out in
the wilds, letting the wind carry away several small seeds as they
slowly slip from her clenched fist. The scene is captivating with
a perfectly blue sky, and the hills flowered beautifully with green.
Selessya subconsciously stretches a little as she sleeps, she murmurs
and smiles briefly. She is at peace and harmony within this dream
of hers. A voice in the distance calls to her. "You are ready, Lady
Merrill". The trees in the background suddenly become still, and
the waves of grass stop flowing. "Lady Merrill, it is time for you
to seek the Lord of Passion. You have devoted yourself to us, and
we hope you continue to do so, and allow our spirits to flourish.
Remain faithful, and seek that of whom you recieved the passion fruit
from, and you shall be guided to eternal peace."

Chapter 2

Selessya takes her time to contemplate under the stars
Awakening from her fruitful dream, Selessya remembers the words spoken
to her. She considers what it is that will grant her eternal peace.
Passing on is inevitable, and Selessya is well aware of this. Perhaps
her spirit will continue on as the Oaks' spirits do, and that is an
idea she certainly approves of. To allow her passion and spirit carry
on with the great Oaks. Thinking further, she wonders what she can do
to remain faithful to her own beliefs. Though she is not concerned
with spreading her beliefs as many factions of this Earth do, she is
certainly open about her faith. Is she to begin prayer to the one she
met before, the Lord of the manor, Arvam? She quickly dismisses that
thought, and knows she will learn more of Lord Arvam, and continue her
prayer to the Oaks until she has come to a better understanding.
