Chapter 1

Know ye, members of our noble house from time ahead, that I commit these
words to paper for thee, that future generations may know of mine deeds
and our houses ascension.
I have little doubt ye will have heard of me, most paramount of our
house, yet knowing how bards speak, would gift thee with mine own thoughts
and words regarding mine deeds and I brought honor unto our house and
mine faith. Know ye then, that I am a servant of the Clarion and have stated
mine intent before the Lord to be his squire and herald, this will happen
let me assure thee.
I will not bore thee with petty stories of the training I undertake, yet
before I lay asside mine pen, I would recount a short tale to thee.
Recently a young squire of mine guild did call to me, greatly distressed
for fiends, base souls did raid our city of Darsylon, many there were.
On hearing, and knowing what would transpire, I went to our home and
due to numbers was cut down. A defeat you think? Nay!
I knew I would fall, yet still went...Tell me future scion of mine house
is not the greatest victory to be true to one self?

Chapter 2

Even among other elves Amtheia was considered somewhat arrogant, overly
proud some said. Amtheia was happy when she heard this. Born into a minor
noble family, she is proud, of her people, of her house, of herself. She is
in fact driven by that pride, and will not accept base behaviour in herself
or others. She believes her house should be a beacon for her people, and
that she is the one will achieve that status. Disgusted by the pacifist views
of some of her people, she was involved in many disputes in her youth, and
earned more then one enemy with her belief that tolerating baseness or evil
is to be base and evil.
For now she realises she has much to learn, that she is weak and this enrages
her. Drawn almost physically to the philosophies of Vynmylak, she intends
to one day be his champion and Lady of his people...she does not know how
to do things half way, and believes people who do are weak. Maybe time will
dull her pride, but for the present, she hardly sees it in herself.
