Chapter 1

Esfergref has come a long way since he left the underdark, in the Inn he has
found a home, and in the heralds a family, which he cares for far more than
he ever did the family he left behind in Blingdenstone. Hes also found an
unmatched alcohol tolerance - three hundred years of drinking will do that
you know. Esfergref is wiser for his experiences (though hed never admit it)
and has begun to come to terms with the passing of his friends, though he
still doesnt take it well. His love for alcohol hasnt been touched by the
years, and he still strives to find and create new drinks with the same fever
as always. Some things havent changed, but some things have, Esfergref has
realized his fixation on dark-elves was nothing more than a childhood fancy.
This realization came through perception of the beauty of all of the surface
races (except for the noteable exceptions of the giant races, gnomes,
duergars and dwarves) ..And from the guiding
hand of a certain half-elf.

Chapter 2

Growing up in the blingdenstone the dark-elf city was always on the mind of
the denizens of Esfergrefs home. He was always told to avoid dark-elves and
should he meet one he was to run as fast as he could. This confused
Esfergref, why were the dark-elves so feared? Why was he not allowed to go
close to their city while out in the underdark? This grew into another
obsession, and when Esfergref left blindenstone he choose to make his home in
Udgaard where there resided many dark-elves. He is very interested in
dark-elves, particularly those of the fairer sex, whom he finds startlingly
attractive. This does not include those of impure drow blood, (even if they
have little human features) for some reason they do no catch his fancy in the
same way.

Esfergrefs father always wanted his son to follow in his footsteps as a
miner, Esfergref rejected this path and became an adventurer - much to his
fathers dismay. To this day in silent protest Esfergref will not touch an
axe or pick, (or pickaxe) the tools of his fathers trade.

Chapter 3

Esfergref grew up in blingdenstone, the son of a miner.His childhood was
fairly normal, as were his parents. Now if you know Esfergref you know he has
an (at times) unhealthy obsession for drinks of spirituous nature. You might
wonder how a happy childhood could spawn a heavier drinker, but you must
realize Esfergref does not drink to forget, or to leave life behind - he
drinks to experience life. To him the world just seems much brighter with a
touch of alcohol in his system, and he has yet to taste a spirit that he
hasnt liked. He strives to find new tastes and new experiences in his
tankard, and also to offer others ales and beers... perhaps as a bartender. He
never drinks so much that his perception is altered, (though the same amount
for anyone else might have such affects) or alter his interaction with
others.
