Reazaifr Sigiel, the Grand Master of Changelings

Chapter 0

I went to the labaratory of Kteng this day. In order to impress my Lord, by
going to a place where magic was and is in abundance. Different magics from
different guilds. And as well as it suited well for silent prayer. In
relative safety from the huge number of foes roaming the lands.
But instead of having its desiered affect it did the oposite, and rather
angered my lord. In praying there I was rather scolded for not sitting where
his caretaker is. I had thought that my devotion had been shown in waiting
there so many times. Visiting him each day for so many years, and I get
scolded for praying in a Labaratory which few have knowledge of.

I now dont know where to turn, as the one I was told to seek remained silent
when I attempted to speak to him. I doubt I will dare travel there again in
fear of angering a powerfull diety. Ive stated my reasons for seeking him,
and when his keeper remained silent, I am at a loss of where to search again.

Chapter 1

My search has still been futile, perhaps I have travelled further than I
first thought. Or he has somehow cloaked his tower, or perhaps even it has
been destroyed. I am now at a loss of where to search, I shall have to find
this Phaelim diety to ask a boon of him, perhaps he will grant me a vision to
find my home, so I might have peace of mind. But before I dare approach such
a diety I must show that I am a skilled mage. Not only that I have travelled
far but that I can control my spells with the presicion of a true master.

I have also made a definate stance in my fight against them that would abuse
the magic they wield, as I have sen the destruction done by fellow mages,
though they do not seem to care if the spells they cast harm innocents. They
do not see that they might harm others in the prossess of knowing their own
spells intimately.

And my heart still strikes out when I hear efforts of slavery, I still cannot
stand with them that would shackle others, even if they have a goodly heart.
And the cities themselves with their corruption is at times to much to bear.
I never dwell long in them, only when I must enter I will.

I have accepted the art of conjuring, though I am still apprahensive about
them. I just cannot phantom myself being bound like they are. Think only if
the situation was reversed.

And perhaps one day I might also gain innsight into the form I once learnt
off.

Chapter 2

Having emerged from the mists of Thar-accia I have gained new resolve into
learning the intricate spells my guild teaches. I have seen the value of
mastery, as the beings there, even though many are evil, really are masters
of their art. I shall perhaps one day when I am able seek counsil with the
master there, perhaps he can divine where my old masters tower is, or was...
As finding him is the only way I possibly have of finding my parents I must
try. I do not harbor hate for them, but I wish to show them what I have
accomplished. So their wondering might end, so they will have peace of heart
in knowing I have managed to grow in an art they only phantomed.

I have also found that I had to take a stance in the battle betweed chaos and
order, I feel that the the tribunals take to much freedom away from me, so I
have chosen not to associate myself with them.

In my search for a greater being that can guide me, I belive I have found one
that might show me some guidance through a priest of his. The Lords name is
Phaelim, one that seems to be a being of magic, reason and purity. Perhaps he
can aid knowlage of my guild as well as guide me in the arts.

Chapter 3

In having travelled some now, and having seen how people act around me I have
found several things to be true. The greatest one is my increasing distaste
for guards enforcing the laws that restrict freedom. And slavers of most
kind. I do however tolerate the conjurers for their art. Though many do not
deserve any attention at all.
I have also parcitipated in killing an elf, but it was only after he
threatened me and the other magi I was travelling with. But still it has
haunted me some, but reasoning has shown me that I should show no such regret
when threats like that are made on my life. I will not prsue the elf more,
but should any of these magic haters approach I will strike out.

My study of the arts has also been slowed somewhat. I had thought to learn
spells more rapidly than I currently am. I shall have to re-think the ways I
am practicing them. And I am unshure of whom to approach with the thoughts I
have about the intricacy of magical arts. I shall have to find a library to
research some things within.

And my search has been futile, even though my travels have increased to many
different places. I have even found a tower that holds soly mages. Quite
interesting place actually. I shall have to learn more of it when I can
handle myself better in more situations.

Chapter 4

History
From early on I was thought that magic was the way out for me. Raised in a
small village where I was taken inn by a wandering mage whom wanted an
apprentice. My parents thought that I would get a better life, as he promised
them that he would teach me his art, and take care of me. So I was sent off
with this strange wandering mage, I have little doubt this day that he used
magics to convince my parents. But as we arrived at his tower, I quickly
found duties awaiting me, such as scrubbing the floors and many strange
apparatuses. I grew and he did not teach me anything with the exception of
small cantrips that would make cleaning easier, the only real thing I was
thought was to be silent in my actions. At night I sat up reading many books
that he left carelessly around his laboratory. I doubt he thought I could
even read much. So I figured that since he would not teach me I would ask the
books for their aid. And with the use of the small cantrips he had thought me
I managed to read and clean his laboratory and have time to spare. My master
Denlain Sigiel by name was not cruel nor kind, but rather indifferent towards
me and any other person or creature. He was some sort of conjurer in art, and
summoned demons and angels at his leisure to take with him on trips he made
to the city. I could never find out how he managed to leave his tower as it
had no real doors. Something I found quite frustrating. He just seemed to
step through the walls. I grew more and more frustrated, and as I learned
more from the books I read while my master Denlain was paying attention I
finally attempted to cast a spell. However it resulted quite badly, I was
changed into a beast of some kind, I suddenly had the taste of poison in my
mouth and my legs where suddenly hairy and my arms swelled with muscles. My
head was filled with not my own thoughts but that of a beasts, so I smashed
all I could reach, and pounded at the walls of the tower and suddenly one
gave away under my pounding. I small crack appeared, and in my beastly fury I
made it larger and eventually scrambled through. I do not remember where I
ran then, but I woke up close to a city called seantryn moedan. I had heard
of this place when I was a child, but never visited it, I ventured inside and
found that I was already more adapt at casting spells than most young ones on
my age. But I knew not which guild to join, I did not like the summoning of
creatures, and forcing them into service, but I knew nothing else. But luck
was finally with me, and I found a guild master that took me under his wing.
But I knew nothing of his art, but he said he could tell I would soon learn
its different aspects.

Motivations: I now search to enhance my magical skill so I might again know
the strength of the form I first was changed into. In this I know I must
enhance my magical strength and study all the magic that I can. Even that of
the other arts so I might know the different aspects so I can better be
prepared for any encounter with it. I also seek to find the mage that I grew
up with so he could take me back to the village from which I was born.

Way of life: I am very free spirited, and will not bow to the law, as I feel
it would bind me to much. I do however seek a community that would allow me
to further my magical ab
