#1492, "[None] Sinopa YellowFox the Free Spirit"

Sinopa YellowFox the Free Spirit

Description

Short and slender the homely arial standing before you is not an attractive
sight. His brown plumage has traces of gray, and dull blue eyes make him a
very unattractive sight. His slim body is covered in two simple articles of
clothing. The first being a primitive loincloth that barely provides any sort
of cover. The other being a worn vest leaving his chest bare. Both loincloth
and vest appear to have been sewn according to a primitive standard. The vest
partially covers his right shoulder, though it can be seen that the feathers
have been removed. Partially visible though is the markings of a skull with
several hornets swarming around it. His neck and wrists are adorned with a
variety of simple charms, though his neck have two that appear to be both
well made and cared for. The first is carved from a circular piece of ivory,
it is slightly larger than a gold coin, embossed upon it is a fox. The other
necklace is a skull cast from silver, hanging from a gold chain, and
sparkling rubies for eyes.

Role

Chapter 3

A Fox's Guide to Living Part Three
Added Fri Feb 6 22:56:58 2004 at level 32:

When one realizes self, self sees others. Many others walk the lands and
Sinopa has found that most do not realize what they really wish. Many others
including Sinopas own kind lie to self, and live life of lies and meaningless
pursuit.

The Wood-elves or Bosmer as Sinopa calls them are close to self. Many Bosmer
are close to family and land, Bosmer are willing to listen to winds and
work hard for what they have.

The Elves or HighBorn are another thing for Sinopa though. Many HighBorn are
blinded by the light, and pursue what they think is the path of truth ignoring
others and their needs.

Dwarves or StoneSouls both sicken and amaze Sinopa. StoneSouls are willing
to pillage the ground in pursuit of shiny rocks and ore. But their oaths
and words are a solemn matter. Sinopa has yet to meet a StoneSoul that has
ever broken an oath.

Ones called Duergar or BlightStruck sadden Sinopa. Sinopa has spoken and
travelled with many BlightStruck and watched as the BlightStruck are treated
like dogs for something they cannot control. Sinopa knows that BlightStruck
are not sympathetic in heart nor hold any thing close to heart, but are willing
to fight for what believe in.

The Felar or Puminican are others that Sinopa feels akin too. Created not
born and the Puminican strive to make a place for selves in land only to
be scorned by most. Unable to find a place for Self without great hardship.

Giants are something that confuses Sinopa. Too Sinopa a giant is a giant,
even though yes some have ebony skin and can fly and hurl lightning from the
sky, all seem to be same. Sinopa is unsure what to call Giants simply because
they are so alike yet think they are different. So Sinopa feels it best to
call them Giants.

Sinopas own people are something that confuses self, Sinopa finds it fitting
to simply call them WindStriders.

The Minotaurs are something that scare Sinopa. HornHeads seem fitting to
Sinopa.

Gnomes are amusing to Sinopa they are full of life and curiousity. Sinopa
finds it fitting to call them ShortFellows.

The deep gnomes howevery confuse Sinopa. Most are greedy and uncaring and
Sinopa thinks that GullyKin is a fitting name.

Dark-elves though scare Sinopa. Cruel and manipulative few are willing to
think about anything other than self. ShadowSouls are what Sinopa calls them.

Orcs are a race though that Sinopa despises. Greedy and pig-faced Sinopa
feels that orc alone is insultive enough.

A Reunion Years in the Waiting
Added Thu Jan 29 02:41:31 2004 at level 23:

Sinopa stood before the southern gates of Udgaard and could not help but
shudder. Barely able to remember the day that his mother fled from the
city with him in her arms, he was unsure if he was about to do the right
thing.

Stepping up to the Jaette Guard Sinopa said "Greetings Guard Sinopa seeks
one that calls self Miakoda."

Snorting the Jaette said "Ifin you wantin information simpleton you be
talking to the wrong man, git yer arse o'er to tha Judge an he mighta
be able to help you bird."

Sneering and steeping aside the Jaette allowed Sinopa to enter Udgaard.

A flood of emotions hurled themself at Sinopa, disdain for the city, wondering
if his father was even still alive, and how he was supposed to even find
his father.

After hours of wandering and asking Sinopa finally found the residence of the
Judge of Udgaard.

Sinopa walked up to the Judge bowed and said "Sinopa was instructed that
one called Judge of Udgaard would be able to help Sinopa find arial calling
self Miakoda."

Looking up from a stack of papers the Judge said "I'm busy you'll have to
pay for my time or get the hell out of here!"

Sinopa passed several gold coins to the Judge and was told where Miakoda
was last known to reside.

Finally coming upon the home, Sinopa knocked on the door and watched with
a mixture of eagerness and unease about what was going to happen.

An old man answered the door and demanded to know why Sinopa had knocked.

Answering Sinopa said "Sinopa seeks one calling self Miakoda."

The old man said "Oh that bird I bought? Well I suppose I should let him
out he's been moping for the last four years anyways. Bring him back the
way he is or I'll fetch the Jaettes after you bird."

wake
An aged arial stepped out onto the street, his wings appearing atrophic,
and his eyes dull and lacking any spark of life.

Sinopa said "Sinopa asks if Miakoda remembers a woman called Ascreth?"

Miakoda appeared shocked and said "Bloody hell I do what do you know about
my wife!"

Sinopa said "Sinopa knows much, Sinopa is the seed of Miakoda and Ascreth."

to the ground in shock Miakoda managed to regain himself and said
"Your my child....Sinopa? How can this be, Ascreth was shot with an arrow
by the Jaettes."

Sinopa sighed and explained what had happened after Ascreth was shot with
the arrow.

Miakoda sat on the ground shaken and said "Well she died free, what are
you doing with your life than......son?"

Sinopa said "Sinopa is a Holy Man, a servant of Lord Khasotholas."

Miakoda spat and began "How in the hell do you call yourself a son of mine.
I didn't raise you to follow some Dark God and spread evil and dissent
among the lands"

Shocked at the outburst and fighting back tears Sinopa tried to say something
but Miakoda continued "You should have died in your mothers arms instead of
running off and make a ninny of yourself! I named you after the fox and
expected you too be true and not serve anyone but yourself!"

Something inside of Sinopa snapped and he cut off his father saying "What has
Miakoda done with self? A slave to an old man! Miakoda cowered while Ascreth
risked life to be free! While Miakoda cowered and served and still serves others!
Yes Sinopa serves Lord Khasotholas but does so out of respect and belief, not
bec

Chapter 5

A Fox's Guide to Living Part Two
Added Fri Jan 16 19:05:55 2004 at level 12:

Dreams can show a man what he really is. Often they show us what we do not
want to see though. Sinopa's dreams haunt him of his past. What Sinopa never
had, though now he doesn't want. A mother, a father....family are the nightmares
of Sinopa. Such dreams can turn one into a self serving weakling. To want what
everyone else has in their possession. Sinopa encourages you to reach beyond that
and make it for yourself not simply want it. Dreams are something that are a
holy quest for ones self. A vision seeker is what one becomes when he seeks the
insight of the dreams. A place of peace must be found, with both solitude and
meaning. In order so that you may understand what Sinopa speaks of Sinopa shall
attempt to put into words what his dream was.

Sinopa was running, not flying through deep woods. Green was in no short abundance
and the airs smell betrayed the season spring. The woods themself seemed to hum
with ancient knowledge. Sinopa's running eventually stopped and he found himself
staring at a large hornet. The hornet either did not notice Sinopa or simply did
not care. And it eventually buzzed it's way back to it's hive. The hive itself was
gigantic. It towered over the largest trees and it was bustling with activity. Large
hornets went in and out.

Sinopa woke up at that point, knowing what he knew to do. And followed what
he felt the dream told him to do. This is what Sinopa acted. This is what Sinopa
speaks of, to find the meaning from the dreams and follow them through.

A Fox's Guide to Living Part One
Added Mon Jan 12 16:21:10 2004 at level 8:

Cold mountains adorn the sky, unforgiving stone lies below, and in between are
mortals living. One can be like Sinopa and find happiness in simply being, be
happy with what one has and can use. Shiney pieces of rocks do not fill Sinopas
belly, nor do they keep Sinopa warm during a winter night. Can one find true
happiness in never embracing himself, to walk as he sees, not as one is told to?
Can one say he knows self without never walking free of laws and restraints?
Sinopa knows that answer is simply no. One can not be free in mind and spirit
while being slave to others. Why spend days doing something one hates to get
shiney rocks, when one can grow or find own food? Why fight over family names
when family will die anyways? Answer to be found is ignorance. Choosing to
ignore self and what one is meant to have and be. To run from what should be.
That is first step towards having a free spirit, to cast aside what is not needed
and look within.

History
Added Sun Jan 11 20:11:59 2004 at level 1:

Sinopa's life was far from ordinary. Born in Udgaard he and his parents where
slaves to the Jaettes. At a young age Sinopa remembers his mother running with
him from the city. His mother was pierced by an arrow while she fled, they
managed to make it from the city, and Sinopa watched his mother die, though she
died free. Sinopa should have died as well, too young to fend for himself, but
he crawled into a fox den. For some reason the mother fox raised Sinopa, bringing
him food, and nuturing him. When Sinopa was finally old enough to survive
on his own, the mother fox allowed him to leave the den. When most arials where
discovering for the first time they liked girls and such, Sinopa was learning
how to live in the wild. When the other arials where working for the first time
ever, Sinopa was mending the wounds of the animals in the mountains that he
had grown to call home. Living in the mountains Sinopa also developed a strong
disliking for most others, finding that greed and ignorance seemed to be the
dominant trait of most. He ventured to the Ruined City thinking there was a
large fire on the plains, only to find a cesspool of human decadance.
Sinopa found that keeping to himself and not looking within others for guidance
that answers came. Dreams and visions where the first, than action was next.
Sinopa found that each day men and woman would fight over the littlest
differences, and he was a target for either being simple minded, or living a simple
life. Instead of running Sinopa fought back, he learned much including how
to read and write. He took to writing his own legacy one that would teach the
generations to come of what freedom of the spirit was. He entitled the book
A Fox's Guide to Living.

The Final Chapter of a Fox's Guide to Living
Added Wed May 19 00:51:42 2004 at level 51:

When one looks to the past what is viewed. A lifetime of battles and war?
A life of peace? A life of conquest? Or a life of meaning. With a sad
heart Sinopa pens the final chapter to a Fox's Guide to Living. Not because
the book has reached an end, but instead over the fact that many have
chosen meaningless pursuits over noble ones. Is it truly a waste of ones
life to work towards a better tomorrow? Sinopa thinks that no is the answer.
If one can die and change one persons life. To change their views upon the
world so that they may see that they are not the center of everyones
attention, than ones life was worth something. The goal of a Fox's Guide
to Living was not only to teach, but to enlighten. To broaden Self's view
upon the land and its inhabitants. It is not a self serving attempt to be
remembered forever as a great scribe, it is an attempt towards realization.
Cast aside the false notions of greed and self fullfillment. Work towards a
better tomorrow. Where all are equal, where all have acheived a meaning in
life. One must look within Self and face the demons of the past. Besting
the demons not only leads to peace within Self, but also realization. Know
that perfection and freedom begins with you.
The End.

Redemption in a Swamp
Added Thu Apr 22 17:53:22 2004 at level 51:

Sitting upon the ground Sinopa spoke to Keldek, the Leader of the Runaways.
"Self has taken a noble cause, the children here depend upon Self for survival.
Sinopa is indeed impressed and wishes to aid."

Spreading his arms and uttering a prayer, loaves of bread appeared and the
other children quickly grabbed as many as they could and ran to another
part of the cave to enjoy the feast.

Smiling Keldek says "Fox you truly are a blessing, the kids here have grown
a bit tired of leaving like savages, but we all have nowhere else to go...this
is all we have."

The smile fades from Keldeks face as he realizes what he says. Noticing the
discomfort Sinopa quickly said "There is.....potential here though. Truly
this is better than the life that all once lived?"

Keldek was quick to nod and said "I still wish to know though why you choose
to help us Fox, you don't seem to be like any other person I've ever met, and
you rarely speak of yourself."

Sighing Sinopa said "Sinopa is not.....comfortable speaking of Sinopa, but
does Self truly wish to know more about Sinopa?"

Keldek nodded and said "If you truly wish too I'd love to hear about your
life Fox."

Shifting Sinopa began "Sinopa was born in servitude, but escape with mother
whom was called Ascreth. Ascreth fell that day to an arrow, but Sinopa survived
and lived thanks to a mother fox. Sinopa lived with the fox until Sinopa was
old enough to leave the den. Sinopa left and lived off the land for some time
until Sinopa went to the Ruined City, thinking there was a great fire upon
the plains. Sinopa found that City and most others are a disgusting place.
Decadence and servitude are abundant in every city, no realization of Self, or
wish to make something of life other than the pursuit of shiney rocks. Sinopa
decided to make something more of Sinopa and the lands themself. Others need
to realize that Self is not the only person, that the future is what is important.
Working towards a better tomorrow and a better society is the true path. That
is why Sinopa pays homage to the Eternal Power that is Lord Khasotholas.
Peace is the end result of Lord Khasotholas will, the society that is sought
by Lord Khasotholas and Sinopa is one of peace and happiness. Where all know
their place, put aside petty differences."

Several minutes passed before Keldek spoke "I didn't realize that is what you
wished, this is something that suprises me to say the least Fox."

An old arial stepping into where Sinopa and Keldek where sitting said "Indeed
I didn't realize that is what you wished in life Sinopa."
Standing quickly and grabbing his flail, Sinopa readied himself for a fight.

Not even batting an eye Miakoda sat upon the ground and said "Son if it's a
fight your looking for, go somewhere else, this old man just wants to speak."

Putting his flail upon the ground, Sinopa still stood and said "What is it that
Miakoda wants! Did owner give permission to leave for the day?"

Chuckling Miakoda said "Lad I'm no longer beholden to that man, I couldn't
take it any more and did what Ascreth did nearly three decades ago. Though
I find myself wishing that the arrow had pierced my breast as well."

Raising an eyebrow Sinopa said "What does Miakoda mean? Sinopa is glad that
Miakoda finally chose freedom over servitu

Rivers and streams hold much for the intelligent traveler. One can use
them to avoid traveling roads if Self feels the need to not have the feel
paths of the Rivers traveling the lands can be much more easier.

The Erinin
This river is popular by it's closeness to the Ruined City, Galadon, and BlackClaw.
Also it passess through the Feanwyyn Weald. One can use this river to avoid
the Eastern Road.

The Khalid
Not many travel this river, though it can be used to reach the Dark Wood,
though Self would be advised to prepare wisely for venturing there. Also,
by traveling the Khalid Self can avoid the Imperial Lands if one desires,
and have a quick way out of Hamsah Mutazz and also able to reach the Aryth
Ocean.

The Nanthor
This river is also not widely used. Passing through Udgaard, and able to be
used to reach Ar'atouldain. It can be used for a discreet way into Udgaard as
well by means of a warehouse.

These three rivers can be used by Self to avoid trouble if one does not wish it,
and also find a quick way around the land.
