Silver spirits do something similar. When I had flow of shadows legacy, I'd sometimes avoid skills that cannot be done by an underwater sword spec with one sword.
Can't remember the exact skills, but I'd guess as dirt kick and doublethrust.
Also, are undead usually affected by the music of bards, in particular, when yyou don't see me?
I don't remember it working on silver spirits, though I could be wrong.
