If a ranger tries to quit in the forest, does anyone hear?
My point following on this.. You have an a-typical ranger, being of the forest.. Lets even make them a wood-elf, even being more comfortable in the forest.
Yet while standing in the forest and trying to quit, your end result?
You don't feel safe enough to quit here.
Shouldn't wood-elf rangers be able to quit in their own native environment, without having to try to enter some city? Or do you feel safer as you get older? (as this is a younger character)
While a ranger may enjoy the wilderness, most of the spots aren't "safe enough" to quit. There are still predators, etc. There are spots that are 100% wilderness that are, however. Menhirs are one example.
Thanks, not meaning to be whiney or critical in any aspect. It hasn't been since the Ragnarok and the bringing of the second age that I've actually played a ranger. Since you seem to be so active on the actual correction of in-game problems, as I see issues, I like to voice them, to improve the game experience for all, as it were.
