Yeah, in character I totally agree with you. There isn't one "army" commander who wouldn't take a sure victory over a not so sure one. In war, numbers are everything. (Although, I am sure skill factors in there somehwere.. ) Out of character though, I have to respect the game balance of it. Which is fine, because really the way they have it layed out right now, its a sharp line. They try to enforce being a respected and courageous warrior but then also being part of a viscious unrelenting army. Part of the fun is trying to balance the both.
