Ignore him, you guys are awesome, the immortals are awesome. He's just a whiny self centered spoiled brat who's crying because he didn't get something special. He isn't an elite roleplayer, I've watched hundreds of chars over the years put up with far worse situations then him and not come out a dime on top for it and they take it all in stride without moaning about it because they weren't playing to be patted on the back by a father-like figure.
