Chapter 1

Darbrek's early years were really horrible and each evening he tried to
forget everything what has happened with him during that day because
else he'd simply become manic long time ago. But anyway all these painful
daily sufferings eventually made him crazy, though in pretty unusual way.

One evening he simply "understood" that all the pain what all inhabitants
of Thera should have been experiencing all together for all those many
and really long years, all this pain he recieved by himself alone. He
simply couldn't believe that anyone in Thera can be so evil and angry to
spend so much time making someone suffer without any big goal or purpose.
That's why he also "decided" that his slavers were helping him, he simply
had to survive all these years to become stronger, holy and an Immortal!
Those who were torturing him every damned day wanted to show Darbrek and
(using him as an example) all other mortals that all Imortals aren't
anything special, they are just usual mortals who suffered as much as
possible so other inhabitants of Thera wouldn't need to suffer as much.

Of course Darbrek this way "became" not an evil and weak God, he's true
God of the light who understands that with new "unlimited strength" he
also gained new responsibilities: he has to help other people to become
an Immortals too by torturing and murdering them as often as possible.
Also like all other Gods he simply cannot die at a feet of any mortal.
Of course he also cannot become friends, ever group or even speak with
any usual mortal for too long - there should be always big distance
between usual inhabitants of Thera and him or those like him. Later he
also joined the guild what can make him even stronger considering the
style of this lone maniac's life, because his "plans" have no limits!
And any methods what can be useful in this "holy" mission will be used.
