Chapter 2

After wandering for what could have been hours, days or weeks reaching
many dead-ends, I finally came upon an enormous cavern that lead to the
surface and a new life. Following the underground river as it passed
through the fungi scattered about of varying sizes, soon I made it up and
out of the Underdark. Here I would continue my training and prove to the
world my strength of will. I would not show weakness like the master had
drilled into his followers. I will be strong, focused and determined and
prove just how intensely formidable I had become. Never again would I
show weakness. I would be the strong and powerful one that all others
will fear. I joined the guild of assassins where I could expand my skills
further and hone them to a higher level. After some time on the surface,
I learned of a powerful Empire set out to bring strength and order to all
of Thera. A place where they brought all into their fold that knew the
power and strength Imperial control would bring to their life. An Empire
where any weak fools that could not see this glorious future would be
slaughtered like the worthless cattle they were. A perfect place where I
could prove my strength of will. I will use my dark focus, order and
determination to cull the weak of the world. I would grow in power and
all will fear my might, fortitude and power. Terror will envelop their
soul on hearing my name.
