Chapter 6

I met recently with the Elder Prophet, Telian Silverfoot, at the behest of
Squire Kormanagon, and together we three talked about our observations of those in the Fortress.
I have reservations in regard to joining an institution who seems to view the goal
of eradicating evil as a series of bloodbaths, and I likened it to "punching the rivers of
of darkness but failing to rescue the silvery fish trying to swim through the stream."

I wish to maximize my positive impact on Thera, and I though I feel I might have
better access to the "fish" of the Fortress if I swim in their waters, I am concerned
that the way of Maran, though well-intentioned, is deeply flawed.
