Chapter 1

-Arleshi was born in Upper Cragstone. Her family, the Groundshifters, were
just that by trade, working the upper mines as haulers, taking the soil and
rock, which is called the "gangue" from one place to another to keep the
mining area clear for working the valuable ore and minerals.


-The Groundshifters, and of course Arleshi as well, never went to Lower
Cragstone, it was a place that could be dangerous at times, and was more a
place for the either upper caste of Svirfneblin, or the fighting sorts that
helped hold back the aggressive denizens fo the Underdark.


-Arleshi worked hard, but was too interested in learning new things and
exploring to share the love of her family in hauling gangue.


-She took any chance she had to study new and exciting sources of knowledge,
thinking a lot on how she could use the things she read about to explore new
places and do grand things. The guild of Conjuration seemed the most suited
to these efforts.


-Her Passion drive her in all things, throwing herself into whatever
endeavors held her interest at the time.


-The same passion, is what led her to eventually leave her birthplace, and
move off to a far off city of Hamsah Mutazz. She had read of some rumors in
books about conjuration about a man named Kaubris, and heard there were some
other things about them to be seen there.


-Finding the guild of Hamsah Mutazz barred to her when she arrived, Arleshi
had to redirect her efforts to grow in the guild of Conjuration, first in the
Academy, and then from place to place doing new jobs for peoples she met to
learn more about this way of life on the surface, and more importantly earn
enough coin to pay the taxes required to join the Hamsah Mutazz conjurer's
guild.


-Once paying the tax, Arleshi was introduced to a new an exiting area of
study by the guildmaster himself. (See separate entry with in depth account;role + of this)


-Stemming heavily from her encounter with the guildmaster and taste of
learning about unknown magic, Arleshi started seeing the benefits of getting
a steady source of income to rely on while she organized her research and
resources for future exploration and studies. The Tribunal seems a suitable
place for this, and she decided to learn more about perhaps joining them.


-She knew little of them, but heard some vague mentions of a group know as
the Cadre, and more importantly the Adventurer Joihe who led them. She wanted
to find out more.
