Chapter 1

Mrreagle was always the most prized pet and valued treasure of his arcane
master. Pulled from his litter from a young age due to the beauty of his eyes
and virgin-white purity of his coat, Mrreagle was raised to be the perfect
housecat servant in everyway. His manners were refined to perfection for his
indoor duties, and his hunter skills toned to mastery for outdoor eradication
of vermin (mostly centaur and other such rodents due to his master's
proximity to them in their Arkham estate, and their distaste for his magical
experiments).


Although bearing a certificate of official Imperial citizenship, his magical
tendencies were enough out of the sanctioned bounds that he never applied for
further elevation through the Imperial echelons in hopes of avoiding more
detailed scrutiny into his less than kosher experiments. Unfortunately,
Mrreagle's master fell prey to the randomized Imperial searches on lower
citizens, and would become the instrument of his Imperial sanctioned
on-the-spot execution. Mrreagle, although loyal to his master, was also
trained to be the perfect executioner of order and soldiery and servant of
the hierarchy. Unfortunately for his master, Mrreagle was quite aware of
where his master fell in the hierarchy of the Empire, and responded
accordingly.


The Imperial lieutenant was impressed by the display of martial mastery by
the housefelar and quickly recommended the furball through the proper
channels for rapid promotion through the ranks of the Shadow Sect.


Mrreagle now sits with Elite status within the Shadow Sect, having
consistently displayed both his innate martial skills and properly channeled
loyalty to the hierarchy. He knows that his true sense of duty and dedication
is to his new masters in the Imperial chain of command, and knows also when
it's less important to follow the word of law, or "house etiquette" when the
situation calls for it. As such,


Mrreagle can often be seen finding strict (personal) adherence to the law
unnecessary when conflicting with his higher purpose of service to the grand
orderly scheme of things. After all, he is no lawcat. Just a housecat.
