Chapter 2

Why a warrior? Shravthar had been studying to be a mage, just like his parents,
when the incident happened. He was young, and after he found his way to the gang
he had to fight to keep alive. Having to earn his food and clothes and money he learned
to fight in a very rudimentary way. A "guildmaster" of sorts in one of the older boys.
He had no aptitude for stealth and not much desire for it either. He is more an
open blunt force of nature so to speak. If he likes you, you know it. If he doesn't
like you, you DEFINTELY know it. Warriors guild struck him as the most close to
his personality as well as his life up to now. Maybe it was done out of ease of
path or just intuition, but he didn't even think of any other guild.

Why sphere Victory? Defeat in his life has been catastrophic. His parents failed
in their research and he was left without a family and with a brother or sister he never
met. Defeat when alone meant hunger and near death. Defeat in the gang meant humiliation.
As he's grown he's started to realize that it isn't so black and white and sometimes
defeat is not so bad, but it's a hard lesson and he'll always need to work on that.
And finally because in this world wars are real, clashes of philosophies and religions
are real, and life and death is much closer to every minute than in other worlds.
Victory and defeat happen all the time, large and small, and he wants to be aprt of
that and enjoy the process of achieving that victory.
