Sometimes I'll start something new thinking I'm going to play one particular race like elf, but change my mind when I see a minotaur or azure-touched Is available, and the name I picked is completely wrong for that race.

If we luck out and are able to choose a limited race in the character creator, how about giving us an option in the creator to re-do the name we used, so we don’t have to disconnect and hope the race is still available when we restart character creation?

This would require a lot of work and even more testing given how CF's character creation system works, and for relatively minor benefit.

If you roll a very dark-elven named minotaur because you weren't expecting the slot to open up, just pray for a rename.
