A lot of people seem to think that bear and snake are pretty useless, as is tame.


So I have a couple of suggestions that go from reasonable to radical.

Reasonable:
Make bear kinship's cooldown a little lower to offset the suck. They still stick around for a day, but the total cooldown time would be 36 hours, so there is only a 12 hour cooldown when they leave. Or, beef them up a bit so they can tank more damage. Or both.

Radical:
Give beastmaster rangers a beastcall for water. Dolphin kinship or Shark Kinship. Or just give this to Mariner beastmasters, since that would make the most sense.

In the middle:
Add some more useful animal mobs to the list of ones that can be tamed into pets. Add some powerful animal mobs to the list, but make it difficult to tame-charm them, and make them aggressive to the ranger when the taming cooldown expires - maybe lengthen the cooldown, something along the lines of "You manage to charm the powerful beast, but exhaust yourself doing so".

I do not know much about coding but the third one seems like it would be the most easy to implement.
